I’m Heather and I am a UK sales agent with KVI

My first experience with cruising began when I was just 18 years old. I was working in London when I saw an ad for jobs with Cunard. My application was successful and I went on to spend three fabulous years working on Cunard’s Princess and Princess Cruises’ Sun Princess and Pacific Princess, cruising around the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Mexico and Alaska.

That’s a lot of cruise time already!

I joined British Airways in 1986 as cabin crew and then Purser and spent the last 27 years flying on both short-haul (Europe) and long haul (i.e. everywhere outside Europe) – I haven’t been to Hawaii but that’s about it!

So, on your next trip or cruise, if you need to know a buzzy bar in Barbados, a great place for lunch in Venice or a place to stay before joining your cruise in Miami, I can help you with that too…

I’ve cruised at least once a year for the last 30 years. I have sailed with most cruise lines from Carnival to Silversea’s and traveled in every stateroom from Interior Cabin to Owners’ Suite (my Honeymoon last year). I’ve sailed in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Alaska, Mexico, the Middle East, and Australia.

I definitely have my favorites and have now reached Elite membership with Celebrity Cruises, Diamond Plus with Royal Caribbean, Discoverer with Azamara and am in the Venetian Club with Silverseas – all the top tiers. I’m now working on trying out some new ships with Seabourn, Windstar, and Cunard.

Cruise lines offer great perks to keep you loyal and cruising with them as often as possible.

So, as you can see, I’ve done all the hard work for you 😉

I have now taken early retirement from British Airways to go back to working with my first passion: cruising.
