“It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.”
- Ursula K. Le Guin
My parents took me on my first cruise as a 10 year old during which I was bitten by the travel bug and never cured. Ever since, I have lived to travel and as cabin crew on British Airways Eurofleet based in London, I travel to live!
Recently, I became part-time which allows me to return to my native Australia every other month so, living between the two, I quite literally have the best of both worlds.
My work with BA means I’ve been lucky enough to visit extensively most of the major ports in Europe and I’ve travelled widely under my own steam throughout South East Asia, North America and North Africa. There’s nothing to beat local knowledge when it comes to squeezing the most from a destination and I love getting off the beaten track whenever possible which has resulted in some wonderful discoveries. Would you like to find the quirkiest museum in Lisbon or Copenhagen? Or maybe you like the idea of eating at a countryside taverna transported as if by magic to a neighbourhood of Athens. And just where is the most stylish boutique hotel in Istanbul when you disembark your cruise there but want to stay a few extra days to explore this extraordinary city? I can help you with suggestions for all this and much more.
If you too spend your working life looking after other people, you’ll want your valuable holiday time spent being looked after. In my experience, there is no better way to achieve this than on a luxury cruise. Choose a destination rich itinerary for all the culture you can handle or maybe you’d prefer plenty of sea days to really make the most of the ship’s facilities. Unpack once and how much or how little you do is entirely your choice. There really is a cruise for everybody.
I’d love to be the first person at your service, to work together with you and get your well deserved break off to the best possible start. I’m only an email or a phone call away. However if I don’t answer immediately, please be patient...I may just be away researching your next exotic port of call!
