Cindy Krenn

Cindy Krenn leads business development at KVI Travel, a multi-award-winning international host agency specializing in interline, full retail and luxury travel, and home to 150+ independent travel advisors. Her job, as she describes it, is simple: bring more travelers to KVI, and make every advisor’s business stronger this year than it was last year.

She came to travel the long way around. Cindy built her career in senior roles with companies including Coca-Cola, Husky Energy and Allergan, spanning retail operations, consumer packaged goods, medical aesthetics, sales and marketing, and she brings that blue-chip discipline to everything she builds at KVI. She holds a graduate business degree from Simon Fraser University and an arts degree from the University of Manitoba.

At KVI, Cindy directs growth strategy across the company’s three brands: KVI Travel, KVI Luxe and BYKI. In 2026 she led the launch of KVI Luxe, the company’s retail and interline luxury travel brand, extending 27 years of KVI expertise into a dedicated luxury offering. She wrote the growth plan the company is now building toward, and, working hand in hand with KVI’s Marketing Director, she is a driving force behind the content and growth engine designed to serve clients and advisors at a standard usually reserved for agencies many times KVI’s size. The ambitions are large. She would tell you that is rather the point.

Cindy is also the founder and executive producer of the BYKI podcast, which she co-hosts with KVI’s owner. Built entirely in-house, BYKI is an owned media platform in KVI’s marketing portfolio, created to introduce the brand to audiences no advertisement could reach and to turn listeners into travelers.

Cindy is a member of the Luxury Leaders Alliance with Travel Leaders Network, one of the industry’s most selective luxury communities, where she and KVI owner Kyle Oram represent the agency among the foremost names in luxury travel. You will find her where the industry gathers at its highest level, from ILTM to inaugural sailings with the world’s leading luxury cruise lines, working alongside the industry’s leaders to keep KVI on the pulse of travel and to build the agency’s standing as an authority on travel in North America.

Cindy is based in Vancouver, where she golfs with enthusiasm, hikes with slightly more skill, and starts most days in the gym. A lifelong learner with a particular passion for AI and where it is taking the travel industry, she is happiest exploring the world with Kyle, spending quality time with her adult daughter, and reporting, as all KVI leadership must, to Jack, a toy poodle and the company’s Chief Barketing Officer.
